Original recipe HERE

I texted my gal pals last night that I had made PB banana bread and it smelled “majestic.”

Rest assured, it takes even better than it smells.

Wanna try it? I dare you.

This is one decision you will not regret.

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.

Gather your supplies:

  •  3 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 1/4 cup oil
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 egg (or 1/4 cup egg substitute)
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1.5 cups all purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1.5 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 8 oz bag of Reese’s mini cups
  • loaf pan

 Grease your loaf pan.

In a medium bowl, whisk together your flour, baking soda, baking powder & salt. Set aside. img_1176-4104298

In a large bowl, stir your bananas, peanut butter, oil, egg & sugars

Pour your dry ingredients into your wet ingredients & stir until just combined. Batter will be lumpy, but DO NOT over stir.

Fold in your Reese’s mini cups and spread batter into your pan.

Bake for about an hour until a toothpick inserted into center comes out clean.

Proof that my hair is a disaster, my oven needs cleaned, and you can’t even see the baking process. What a great shot.

Let that sucker cool for 10 miuntes or so then loosen the edges of the pan with a knife & remove from your loaf pan.

Then pray to the God’s that it doesn’t fall in on itself [like mine did]. I didn’t bake it long enough [55 minutes], but believe me when I say it didn’t matter. It still tasted like a unicorn birthed it.

That didn’t come out like I wanted it to..

Anyway, I must keep it short because I have a doctor’s appointment to go to, but I wanted to share before I left.

If you try this out, let me know how it works out!

Have a spectacular weekend, fellow bloggers.
